About

This camera is a fully-licensed clone of the Minolta X-300, which was a 35mm manual focus SLR based on the MD mount, and which was produced between 1984 and 1990. When Minolta moved production of the X-300 in 1989 to China to save money, the Chinese factory that made them, the Shanghai General Camera Factory, asked and received a license to copy these and brand them with different names. Little did Minolta realize that the clones would still be being made to this day.
