The Atari 2600 CE (Compact Edition/Complete Entertainment) is a portable Atari 2600 being made by Larry Ziegler. He has designed and modified custom-made cases for his project to make sure all of the components will fit in perfectly with no wasted space. This process involves making a wax mould, then plaster, then making clay test pieces and finally the plastic case. He has also made the control buttons. Larry has also designed and built a custom PCB after many designs and has managed to come up with a board that is much smaller than that of the Atari 2600 Junior. A few prototype PCBs have been made so far. A small screen will also be used on this console.
