About

The Pixie is a strut-folding rollfilm camera made by Contessa Camerawerke Drexler & Nagel in Stuttgart, Germany in about 1912/1913 or a little later. It used the then brand new 127 film introduced by the Vest Pocket Kodak it was aiming to compete with. Some cameras were also labeled Nixie [1] or did not carry any name tag like the one pictured here.
