About

The Efka 24 is a viewfinder camera for 24-mm square exposures on 35mm film, made in about 1947 by Frizt Kuhnert of Freiburg (later Futura). It is metal-bodied, with black leatherette covering. The top, bottom and lens plates are of pressed aluminium, and most other components (the film advance, lens barrel and viewfinder) are of machined aluminium. The camera has a curious film-advance lever, mounted on the same spindle as the rewind, and positioned for the left hand. This can fold away when not
