About

The Gallus Cady is a self-erecting spring folder taking 120 film fitted with Boyer Topaz 105mm f/4.5 lens in Gitzo GITZ∆ 2R shutter. Introduced in the mid 1930s, the folder body is probably of German manufacture, fitted with a French lens and shutter combination and branded by Gallus.[1] The front of the folding door is blind stamped 'Gallus', while 'CADY' is blind stamped on the upper curved section of the body. The camera body lacks serial numbers.
