About
The Klippa is a strut-folding hand camera of the chambre à joues type, with side-boards which act as struts, holding the lens-board in place, and fold over the front when the camera is collapsed. It was made by Thornton-Pickard from about 1913.[1] The camera takes 2½x3½-inch plates. Most parts of the camera are aluminium, with black leather covering. It has front-element focusing. There is a fold-down wire-frame finder with a rear pointer to position the eye.
