Lavec Industrial Corporation of Taipei, Taiwan is the maker of several cheap viewfinder cameras for 35mm film. These include at least some of the Time Magazine Camera; some of these have LAVEC Optical Glass Lens on the lens-surround. Some cameras branded Biauma also have a similar branding on the lens, and are probably made by Lavec. The status of Biauma is not clear; Biauma may be only a client who had the cameras made as giveaways, like Time. Some cameras have been produced in Lavec's own name
