About

The Patria (L'extra-mince Patria'; the extra-slim Patria, according to an advertisement reproduced at Collection Appareils[1]) is a 9x12cm folding camera for plates or film-packs sold by Girard of Paris in about 1908. It has double-extension bellows. The advertisement cited states that it has an Ernemann symmetrical Aplanat lens,[1] and in fact the whole camera looks rather like a rebadged Heag model.
