The Linhof Technikardan is a monorail camera (or better: optical bench camera) specially designed for the Technika System. That means that it uses Technika-lensboards. Another feature is the telescopic optical bench. The collapsed camera can be turned 90 degees over the rail so that the whole camera becomes easily transportable. It's also a more modern concept of the monorail camera than the Linhof Kardan. The camera bears several spirit levels to support adjustment for architecture photography.
