About
Two years after introducing the compact Mamiya U, in 1983 the company introduced the Mamiya U Autofocus. While its styling was decidedly chunkier, Mamiya did offer a red version in addition to the earlier silver and black options. The lens was still a Sekor 35mm f/2.8. The same camera was sold through the German company Foto-Quelle as the Revue 500AF Super.
