About

The Mec 16 SB is a viewfinder camera for 10x14 mm pictures on 16 mm film in special cartridges. It was made from 1960 by Feinwerktechnik GmbH of Lahr in the Schwarzwald, Germany. It is an improved version of the Mec 16. It differs most importantly in the addition of a built-in Gossen lightmeter: it is the first camera to offer through-the-lens metering.[1] The camera also has a different lens, a 22 mm f/2 Rodenstock Heligon, one stop faster than the Mec 16's f/2.8 Color-Ennit.
