All European Xbox 360 consoles shipped with a Microsoft branded composite/stereo audio to SCART adapter block in addition to the standard A/V cable the model in question shipped with.; This allows the composite video cable and other RCA-composite capable cables to be used with SCART equipped televisions.; The signal is not changed in any way and the adapter does not offer any improvement in quality over a direct composite connection. Not to be confused with the advanced SCART cable.
