This chatpad was planned to release so gamers could easily chat on the original Xbox, but it was canceled for unknown reasons. Together, the controller and chatpad resemble Darth Vader's helmet from the "Star Wars" franchise.; The controller S is also a prototype whose codename was Vertigo.; The idea of the chatpad would not become a reality until the Xbox 360 era.
