About

The AF3 introduced in 1987 was an evolution from Nikon's first autofocus compact camera, the L35AF and in some territories was branded with the One•Touch logo, making it very easy to confuse with the camera also known as the L35AF2. Its lens had a different design to the earlier models and this allowed closer "macro" focussing. The body also gained a flash disable button. The AD3 variant had an "autodate" function.
