5 consoles were given away at lottery to the first 25 buyers of the GTA: Chinatown Wars game at Nintendo World during the games Launch Party in New York on March 16th, 2009.; Some consoles were given to GameStop employees. One particular store, won consoles for having the most preorders for the game in the company.; There’s 4 versions, 2 with a decorated Rockstar themed interior and 2 with a plain interior. All split between Huang Lee and Ling Shan designs.; Red interior versions, were the few on display at the Nintendo World event (not giveaway consoles).
