About

To cut costs from the DS Download Station The DS Download Station was a system with retail DS consoles in multiple stores, with special cartridges, to make demo content available via download play to DS users.; Every time a new game was released they had to release separate cartridges, so to cut costs, they made a single device which gets the rom from Nintendo servers, called the Nintendo Zone Box.; It is literally a DSi with only one screen, in a router-like looking housing.; Had port protectors which were screwed over the cartridge and SD card slot, so people would not be able to steal them easily. Came bundled with a Wireless Distribution Card.
