CoroCoro comic magazine gave out 10 of these consoles for a Quick Solving Clear Campaign they held for the game Fushigi no Dungeon: Fuurai no Shiren 2; Had to defeat the Demon in the quickest time, top 10 times sent in were rewarded with this Gameboy Color and a “demon slaying certification plate with clear ranking.” 990 other participants were given a demon slaying certification plate with clear ranking, and a “special Shiren 2 sticker” present; Gameboy Color with Shiren themes on the lens, and front with special AB buttons; Console was shown in the CoroCoro Shiren Guide; an appendix of the October, 2000 issue; Announced winners in the Corocoro issue of January 2001
