"GBA DX" is believed to be the early name for the GBA SP. It was handed out to members of the press for testing purpose before mass-production of the GBA SP.; The sticker on the systems bottom says "GBA DX" instead "GBA SP" and also has text saying "PRE-PRODUCTION" The top of the unit has a sticker that reads "Examiner Number X" X of course being which ever GBA DX it was.; Intended to be sent back to Nintendo, some however were not
