About

Console was used for demonstrations in store and given to NMI (Nintendo Merchandising Inc.) employees as a gift.; NMI is the marketing and merchandising branch of Nintendo in Redmond, WA handling a lot of their merchandising of products.; NMI is burned onto the top of the console and a sticker notating it's part of Nintendo Property on the bottom.; Completely unknown how many of these there were, but likely a lower number since these appear to be mainly NMI specific test/demo units.; These came from early stock of the SNES as it doesn't appear to be an exceptionally lower serial number or such.
