About
The "Super Game Boy 2" is a revised version of the Super Game Boy that was only distributed in Japan. The housing is transparent blue and is slimmer than the first version.The hardware has been expanded to include a Game Link connector and an LED display. The Game Link connector allows the connection of a Game Boy or other compatible hardware with the Super Nintendo (e.g. Game Boy Printer). The firmware also received an update and has five new screen border graphics ready.; It was released only in Japan
