About

The Optax is a 35mm Bakelite viewfinder camera made in France by Lumière. It uses 135 standard cartridges and was introduced in 1948/49. It uses the same Gitzo shutter as the Eljy, providing speeds from 1/10 to 1/200 of a second + B & T.
