The Peckham Wray Camera is an unusual SLR camera for 4x5-inch plates, made by the English maker Wray from 1955-62.[1] It is named for Cyril Peckham[2], who worked as a photographer for the aircraft-builder Hawker Siddely[3] and designed it as an aerial camera, but that gave it features useful in a press camera. Some examples of the camera carry its Admiralty Pattern number 8901 on the front of the finder superstructure, showing that it was approved equipment for the Royal Navy (presumably the F
