About

The Pelar (or Pelar-Camera) is a 35mm viewfinder camera made in very small numbers by Gebrüder Lehman (Lehman Brothers) of Berlin in 1947.[1][2][3][4] The camera looks superficially like a Leica B: but it has only an everset lens shutter; either a Vario or a Stelo, according to Klaus Müller; with speeds 1/25, 1/50, 1/75 and 1/100 second, plus 'B',[5] and this has no body release. The lens is also named Anastigmat-Pelar, a front-element-focusing 5cm f/2.9, made by Ludwig, according to Müller.[5]
