About

The Perfo 608 (The maker's notes cited below refer to it as Performance 608) is a rangefinder camera for multiple formats. It was designed by Paul Lachaize in 1955, and built around the Mécila Mag 150 film magazine that he had designed just a few years before.[1][2] Between ten and twenty examples of the camera were made. The camera can be loaded with a ten-metre roll of film, sufficient for 150 2¼-inch square exposures, but can also be set to expose a 6x8cm frame (110 exposures on the same roll
