The Red Flag 20 (红旗 20; Hongqi 20) is a copy of the Leica M4 made in Shanghai in about 1971-77 (McKeown suggests 1971-76, but the serial number of the camera illustrated here suggests 1977, and serial no. 770179 was seen at a Leitz auction).[1][2]. The article on the Red Flag 20 at Oddity Cameras says that the first body was ready in 1973[3]. It has the Leica M lens-mount, and three lenses were made for it.
