Console released in Japan/Asia; Black colored console with "MEGA-CD 2" written on top; The difference between the Mega CD 2 and the Original Mega CD is that it's cheaper to make and it looks more appealing.; Originally only made for the Mega Drive 2, but with plastic extensions that was included it was possible to connect the original Mega Drive to it.
