The Velo-Klapp is a strut-folding 9x12 plate camera with a focal-plane shutter, made by Ernemann. The name of the camera probably refers to its compactness when folded, making it suitable to be taken on bicycle trips. The focal plane shutter makes the Velo-Klapp slightly bulkier and heavier than the Velocam, however, which has only a three-speed front shutter.
