The Vitessa is an innovative 35mm folding rangefinder camera made by Voigtländer in the 1950s. The folding bed of earlier folders is replaced by a barn-door assembly, and the shooting experience is aided by a focusing dial on the camera body and a large plunger to advance the film. The name Vitessa is a nod to the speed of focusing and shooting that could be achieved by using the camera.
